Yi Pod Tablet is antibiotic which shows effectiveness against both grams positive & grams negative strains. It is prescribed for treatment of pharyngitis, sinusitis, and acute otitis media. It is known to work by inhibiting synthesis of bacterial cell wall via inhibition of final transpeptidation step. Yi Pod Tablet gets metabolized in liver showing bioavailability of 50% with up to 29% of protein binding ability.
